WOMEN

Every ministry of Salinas Valley Community Church is committed to helping people grow into a life of “Loving with Abandon.” This means that SVCC’s Women’s Ministry lives out this mission as we help women: Love Jesus with abandon, love each other with abandon and love Salinas with abandon. We believe these three goals capture the heart of God for every woman.

We want to hear from you!

Breathe - Spiritual Direction Morning

On Saturday, July 18, the women of SVCC gathered for a refreshing morning retreat centered on the theme, "Breathe." Led by Lisa Fletcher and Diane Pate and hosted by the SVCC Women's Ministry Leadership Team, the retreat invited women to slow down, connect with one another, and draw closer to the Lord through learning about Breath Prayers—simple, intentional prayers that create space to focus on God's presence throughout the day. The ladies also enjoyed a creative craft activity, designing a personal reminder of their breath prayer or their walk with Christ, and many shared the meaning behind their creations with one another. The morning included a meaningful time of communion and concluded with each attendee receiving a gift bag that included a book about Breath Prayers. It was a wonderful time of fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual renewal together.
