The Huckins family lives in San Diego, where they have co-led a house church for the past sixteen years while directing a ministry called Journey Home, whose mission is to heal soul and society. Together with a bi-national team based in San Diego and Tijuana, they host churches from across the United States at the border—helping them see and respond to the needs of vulnerable neighbors with greater compassion and understanding. They also facilitate leadership cohorts for pastors and ministry leaders who are weary or in transition, creating space for rest, healing, and renewal within a trusted community. In it all, their hope is to walk with those who feel spiritually homeless as they rediscover the healing way of Jesus.
